New Profiles?

I can see the bear bones are there, but not very functional yet.

I wonder if I would have gone this way, it seems to be very reliant on number editing, I hope you can find a way to simplify it a little.

Yes, You find it. It's not beta, it's still in alpha stage. It will be usable when we push out to (public) beta stage.

Please be patient, and don't use it until we set a stable release to the public. When it comes the time we're going to create a new announcement

We're very close to that stage, but we want to make sure that there is everything is working well.

I think this will be possible with the Profile Designer. :)

As part of the profile designer a tank to joystick option would be nice. See this website for details. Allows tank tracked vehicles to work with a joystick control. http://home.kendra.com/mauser/Joystick.html />

We are working hard to release it as soon as possible. That's all I can say right now. The controls are finished, as the main functionality mostly too. Here's a screenshot from the current alpha status:

    That's great news, Zsolt.

Do you have any further indication of when it will be available for us to use, please?

Lenard suggested 'Monday' (i.e. yesterday) but we have had no updates since...

    Many thanks

    Conor

    Hi guys, some facts:
    - The Profile Designer will be a web application
    - It will be free
    - It's going to available on a different subdomain, but with the same login credentials.
    - In Beta 1 you have 3 different control types: Slider, Joystick, Button.
    - Each control can be configured in different ways.
    - More control type will be added in the future updates.

You can see a little sneak-peak here: https://social.sbrick.com/albums/photo/view/album_id/135/photo_id/554

    Apparently not available.

See 'Home' page for latest announcements.

Lenard said 'Monday' but now he just says:

'Really want the profile builder! Please!   It is advertised when purchasing but not yet available. :-(. '

So no idea now when it might be available.

I'll just check back here on a daily basis to look for any announcements...

Does anyone know the date that the profile designer will be out?

EDIT: Lénárd Pásztor said that it will be out within 1.5 weeks.

yeah just a profile that replicates the port tester would be ideal for testing...it is a pain to keep going into the port tester....

    Hi David,

As we announced before, we are working on a profile designer web app, which will be available as soon as possible. And actually we want to show you in this week. Stay tuned. ;)

What is the best source of info for creating new profiles to use or are we waiting on some better tools to do it ourselves?

I really just need a profile that gives me the same function as the manage brick test function (i.e. control 4 motors)

    Thanks,

    David
