Yes, this is a known issue. We publish a new firmware for SBrick and SBrick Plus so the users will be able to dim the LED.
I recently bought a sBrick plus and comparing it with my other sBrick bought during kickstarter, the LED power seems over the top. It literally glows through the case. Is there any way to tune it down?
