Lego Technic Truck Mounted Knuckleboom Crane with Fly Jib

Remote controled lego technic crane 1x AA Battery Box 2x Sbrick 6x PF M motor 1x PF Servo motor Hello everyone, let me present my new MoC, a new type of lego technic crane concept. I became obsessed by technic cranes more than a year ago, but the existing methods to build telescopic cranes didn't really satisfy me. Especially after I've discovered a certain type of truck mounted loader crane that has an outer boom extension (Fly-JIB). By first look I found it impossible to build it , since building a telescopic crane from technic what has more than two segment becomes bulky. So I had to clean the table and come up with a new idea for a multi segmented telescopic mechanism and that's what you are about to see. However let me pin down that it is the concept of the crane what I would like to share here. Neither the crane, nor the truck is worked out to the edges. My goal is -by sharing this idea- to see many of you coming up with more sophisticated solutions on the subject.I would be more than happy to see improved versions of it, filtering out all of those weaknesses what I could not. At the first place for instance the lifting capacity is almost nil due to the fact that it is built from 12L axles.

Koszonjuk a jokivansagokat!
