    Tamás Fábián To be more precise: recommended: 10.8, absolute 11.8. Above the absolute maximum, death is almost certain. 12V > 11.8V

    Tamás Fábián The slowdown at 2.5A is probably because of the batteries. If the motor drivers would drop significant voltage, they would burn up in seconds.

    If you hit the current limit, the motors will stop working, since the IC's protection circuit simply just cuts...  more
