Hello, now I'm having problems with buzzing motors. No matter which SBrick or what motors I use, using joysticks with auto center causes the motors to buzz. This does not happen with sliders or buttons, near as i can tell, only with joysticks. I have used multiple profiles, but it happens every time.

My device is a Motorola Moto G4, with Android 6.0.1

My app is v4.2, Update 3

Both of the SBricks I tested are Hardware version 5, Firmware version 18.

    Hello,

We have not experienced this "buzzing motor" issue before.

For the first time it sounds like, the problem will be with the model. Could you try this out with an another model?

The same motors with a different model? If the problem will be with the SBrick, we will help you forward, don't worry.

In this case, please contact us at info@sbrick.com, (a video would be much appreciated.)

    Thank you in advance,

    Best regards,

So, what's with all of these people in this thread? Also, what do you mean by try this out with another model? I have tried this with many kinds of motors, which are not connected to anything, and I still have the same issue. I have actually filled out a trouble ticket already, but nothing has come of that yet.

    [/blockquote]

Sorry for my misunderstanding, I thought you only tried the motors while all of them are built in a model. :)

I have forwarded the problem to our developers they will do their best to solve the problem.

We ask for your patience, and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Best wishes,
    Balint

    Dear Team,

Sorry that creating new designer profile does not help on my case.

    the new profile is: https://designer.sbrick.com/?profile=17917

I found that the button controller won't trigger the buzz sound.  But slider controller will.

Could you help to follow up please? I just bought the sbrick for few days!

I really should not update the firmware, there is no problem before I update the firmware.

    Dear Frans,

What do you mean of "create a new profile?"

Do you mean "new creation"? or "new profile in profile designer"?

    Thank you.

O no. I have the same problem too!

As the app keep asking me to update the sbrick, I just update it.  And now it's always buzzing when I give signal to the motor.  Very annoying.

    Please fix it ASAP.

My sbrick firmware version is 17.

App version is v4.2 update 2.

cell phone is Sony xperia z3 compact.

    Thank you!

I am having this problem also after updating to the newest app version.  Everything worked fine a few weeks ago.  Now when using slider controls with auto-reset, the motor will continue to buzz after using the slider once.

All sbricks are on the latest firmware.  I am using IOS on ipad.

I build a tracked vehicle with s-brick and a motor on each track, controlled with the joystick.

when I start the app everything is normal, but once I used the control, one engine keeps buzzing.

seems like it’s still receives a signal although joystick is in neutral.

    does anybody have an idea?
