    Hallo,
where I can get some support for the programming an SBrick.
I have realized backup light and a stop light, after long testing that now works.
My question is how I can combine a Taillight with the stop light function. I will the Taillight bright 50% and the stop light funktion bright 100%. For the stop light function I have a Squence that activate the light for 5 Seconds.
Did you have an answer for me or you can forward this request to one of your coworkers.
    Thanks,
    Stefan

    Dear Natalya,
Please find the necessary windows apk here, http://sbrick.dewsys.com/windriverDev/install/install.php
It is just a beta version, but please try to use this one. :)

I am using sbricks for a while now and I am generally satisfied, but I wonder why my iPad2 will never connect to an sbrick. I normally use my iPhone 4, which works fine. The iPad always tells me to "activate bluetooth", even when it is already active. I tried to reinstall the app, no use. I tried to discover the sbricks on the OS settings, but they don't show up. My bluetooth works, at least with my EV3 brick. Restarting the iPad makes no difference, either. The two sbricks in my current model are stated to be "hardware 5, firmware 18".
What can I do to make it work?
    LG,
    Nikolaus

    Dear Nikolaus,
We have not experienced an issue like that with the Ipad2 before.
Does work properly with your other bluetooth tools? This problem rather sounds like that there is a problem with the bluetooth in the Ipad.
Could you check any other tools or devices whether it connects just with the SBrick or not?
    Thanks,

    Dear Balint,
    Thanks for your answer.
I made some test on another laptop and I was partly successful.
The system is the same (win7), I just noticed that BLED112 used COM3 and on my laptop it was COM4 (COM3 is already used).
The connection is not solid, I sometimes have to restart windows to reconnect to SBrick+ again.
Generally I successfully connected motors but no sensors yet. As I followed other topics, this is a different problem (are they still not supported in my configuration?).
    Regards,
    Paweł

    Dear Pawel,
Please try out our windows plugin, that you can find here, http://sbrick.dewsys.com/windriverDev/install/install.php

This is our official plugin, while the S2Bot is independent from us, it is not our application, so we cannot guarantee that the SBrick works perfectly with it.

So, we ask you to check the plugin, whether it is a good answer for your mentioned issue.

If you need any help, please contact us again!

    Hello!
The specifiactions are the same for the SBrick and the SBrick Plus, so you must have to be awared with the maximum voltage and amperage. :)

I see! Yes, that is right. The app is for Android.
To control your Lego creations you can use your laptop through Scratch.
Here you can find some more details, https://social.sbrick.com/wiki/view/pageId/37/slug/education
But to control it with a gamepad, that connect to your laptop, it is not possible yet.

    Hi,
Apologies if these ideas have been raised before.
Is it possible to have controls that influence the behaviour of other controls within the profile? As a train builder I would find it helpful to have a slider control for the throttle that operates with the range 0 to 1 and a seperate switch that acts as a reverser to modify the slider's output to give a reverse function. At the moment I'm having to operate with two sliders, one for each direction, in order to overcome the problem of finding the 0 point on a single slider with the range of -1 to 1.
Also, can more control types be added? I'm thinking of a multi-position rotary switch with a user-defined number of positions that could be assigned to multiple ports for control of lights, for example.
    Many thanks.

    Dear Hod,
Unfortunately it is not possible yet. :(

I've got a stupid question to ask, the answer to which is probably obvious. My problem is that I have no understanding of electronics whatsoever, so I thought it would be a sensible idea to ask rather than assume.
When the SBrick is regulating the output for each port, is it regulating the voltage or something else? So for example, with a 9V supply the SBrick would give an output of 0-9V where the profile parameters for the relevant control are set at 0 and 1. So if I wanted, say, a 0-4.5V output range do I simply set the output parameters at 0 and 0.5?
    Thanks. :o)

    Dear Hod,
Yes, the parameters are work like that. :)
And if you set the value to -1, it will be the same, just in reverse.
    We hope this help you!

Here's my wish list.  Hope it can help increase the development priorities:
+1 for being able to connect multiple channels to one control or even better to link controls using mathematical functions (*)
+1 for copy/paste inside a profile and between profiles.  Copy/paste controls, images (for example, the image of a knob), sequences, circuits,...
+1 for the ability to add images
+1 for the ability to add text labels (putting this below images, as one can render images with text)
+1 for the ability to switch aspect ratio.  If we have copy/paste, an auto-switch aspect ratio becomes slightly less important for me, as I could at least copy/paste everything over to the new profile.
(*) It would already help if one can use multiple sequences as the output of a circuit, or controls other than sequences as the output of a circuit.  For example: if this button is pressed, then activate sequence 1 and sequence 2. Now I need to create 2 circuits and I have the impression...    less

    Hi,
I have a simple profile with 2 sequences.  Each sequence has 2 channels (sequence 1 = front left + rear left and sequence 2 = front right + rear right).  I can activate each sequence without any problem, but when I activate both at the same time, the app crashes.  Sometimes it crashes within one second, sometimes it crashes after 8+ seconds, but it always crashes eventually.  So I hope it's easy to debug, since I can easily reproduce the problem, at least with my profile.
It seems that if I start both sequences at the same time, the app crashes right away, while if I start them out of sync, it takes longer before the app crashes.  Not sure if that's always the case.
Not sure if this is specific to the iOS app.
    Any ideas?
    Frank
Update: the fact that there's 2 channels per sequence has nothing to do with the problem.  I edited the sequences and they's now very simple: each 1 channel 0,5 sec. value 1, 0,5 sec value 0, repeat.  App still...    less

I didn't use my Rolls Royce containing 2 SBricks for a few months, but I wanted to use it again. The batteries were empty, so I used the LEGO LiPo battery. For some reason, the SBricks don't connect to my phone and not to my brother's  phone. They are not even visible. It appears the bluetooth function is broken on both SBricks. The servo connected to one of the SBricks turned to vertical position when I turned the battery on, which means there is no power-based problem.

    Hi there,

I think this should be pretty simple but i am really struggling here. any help would be most appreciated!

i have a new sbrick plus, a windows lumia 950xl with the app, and made a profile in the designer with a slider and logic connecting 'motion sensor' to 'slider'. when i open the profile on my phone, however, i dont see any way to map the port for my motion sensor to the channel used for the sensor in the first  step of the logic. i cant figure out how to use a sensor with my sbrick plus at all. :(

    Dear Avery,
    Thank you for your message!
Unfortunately the sensor support is not available for Windows devices. We are working on it, but it is not finished.
Sorry for this inconvenience, if you have any chance to try out the sensors with a different device we are pretty sure you will enjoy it!
If you need any help or anything else just contact us at info@sbrick.com, and we will help you!
    Best regards,

in the topic ipad2 iOS9.3.5 - no Bluetooth support? in the forum Support
Nikolaus Löwe said: I am using sbricks for a while now and I am generally satisfied, but I wonder why my iPad2 will never connect to an sbrick. LG, Nikolaus Dear Nikolaus,  We have not experienced an issue like that with the Ipad2 before.  Does work properly with your other bluetooth tools? This problem rather sounds like that there is a problem with the bluetooth in the Ipad.  Could you check any other tools or devices whether it connects just with the SBrick or not? Thanks,  BalintSBrick Team

in the topic BLED112 and S2Bot on Windows does not see SBrick in the forum Support
Paweł Krajewski said: Dear Balint, Thanks for your answer. Regards, Paweł   Dear Pawel,  Please try out our windows plugin, that you can find here, http://sbrick.dewsys.com/windriverDev/install/install.php    This is our official plugin, while the S2Bot is independent from us, it is not our application, so we cannot guarantee that the SBrick works perfectly with it.    So, we ask you to check the plugin, whether it is a good answer for your mentioned issue.    If you need any help, please contact us again!    Have a nice day, best,  BalintSBrick Team
