    Hi SBricks Supports,
I used SBrick app to update the firmware of my SBrick. The app indicated the updated was completed. However, the SBrick does not response to the app anymore. The LED on Sbrick lights up all the time once the power is on. None of the port is responding nor the LED can be turned off again. I can see the correct firmware version from the app after firmware updated. I tried to update the firmware again but the app refuses by saying that the firmware it the latest.
So what can I do to recover my Sbrick? Please help.
    Thank you.
    Ricky.

Hi, Did you restart your phone after the update? Whenever you update a new firmware version you have to restart your device.

I tried restarting my phone/sbricks. I also tried to reinstall the app. But these do not help.
I am pretty sure this is the problem of Sbrick. I have other Sbricks which use the original firmware works with my phone very well.
My andriod phone is Samsung Note...    less

After i did a OTA Update from 4.0 to 4.3 with the 1.6.1 Android App, my Sbrick did not work. The connection to it worked, but it was impossible to control the Motors and the LED on the Sbrick was always on. I tried to restart BT, i stopped BT and delete all Data and Cache from BT, i reinstalled the Sbrick app, i updated the Firmware a several times, i restarted my phone, i shut it down and removed the Battery for 2 Minutes, i wiped the Android Cache Partition but nothing. Simple Control allways crash when i tried it, and the OTA Update to 4.8 allways failed at 2%. Last Night i updated the Sbrick App to 2.0 but it was even worse. With 2.0 OTA Update fails now too.
Then, when i thought I had nothing left to loose i unpaired the Brick in the Android BT and voilà, everithing works fine. I had not even to do a restart. Update to 4.8 worked too, at first time. No crashes, no lag's. Everythin like it...    less

My andriod phone is Samsung Note Edge andriod 4.4. The App ver is 2.0.1. Is there any way to force updating the firmware of Sbrick again?   Thank you. Ricky. Try to pair and unpair the Sbricks. May be you have to restart your phone after that, or delete the App Data.

I once read here in the Forum that one should never unpair a paired Sbrick with Firmware less than 4.4 and it's true, after i unpaired the Sbrick it was not possible to pair it again. But in my case, it's not necessary. The Sbrick app recognized the Sbrick without pairing. After the Update to 4.8 now i can pair it again.
