Where I was failing, was mainly due to lacking interface design. When you create a set for yourself. You add a brick, then add a profile from the market, then you need to click on the brick. That will bring up an interface to link the controls to the ports. That makes previously completely useless profiles into things that actually work.

For some reason the visuals of the latest GamePad 2 profile seem messed up. You get the circle in the middle from another profile and you have to back track to get rid of it.

Would be nice if you could delete sets. The delete set button is still useless in both browse and edit pages.  less

Sadly, the fixes still don't actually make it work on an Galaxy S4. Brick remains only useable via the port testers. All profiles etc. don't work.

App wise for Apple, no clue, whatever the latest app version is. Doesn't really matter though, since the phone itself can't pair with the brick. (I am guessing you can pair with Nordic App)

Amusingly, I have an S4 which can connect to the brick but with a very unstable and unfunctional app and a Apple 4 which has a nice app, but can't connect. Fun and games!

They should put the profile for the 42030 up on Market if it works. At least people could do something with it.

The bit which amazes me is the ports work perfectly via the Manage Brick test interface. Just create a section of the interface in the APP where we have better access to those 4 sliders. At least then people can do some stuff.

Another thing I have noticed, is that you can't delete the sets you have created under My Sets. I removed the profiles from each one, then tried to remove the Sets themselves. Nothing. Delete icon does nothing. So be careful not to create to many Sets.

Just imagine if the SBrick has been shipped out at the original release date :)

I don't mind the release of the SBrick before it is really ready, just because the Test ports part of the App shows you what it will eventually be capable of. Just gotta sit tight a while.  less

Do the ports work via the test util?

When my LED doesn't work via test util, neither do the ports and that seems to be a bluetooth pairing issue. If it is paired properly, both work fine.

It seems brick pairing is "delicate" at the moment.

What is the home page within the app meant to do? It appears blank with no options to do anything.

I get nothing from any of them. All ports work via the SBrick test bit.

To be honest, if you just had 1 control that actually worked on Android which allowed you to use a servo and motor, I think that would keep a lot of people happy for now. A lot of people just want to use it as a remote for their RC LEGO car.  less

Game Pad 2 is the one I want to use, but nothing.

If these don't work, how are we meant to use the SBrick as there doesn't seem to be any means to create your own profiles?

Noticed the incredibly slight flicker on startup. Yeah, I think you could do with increasing the time that is on for and maybe also the brightness.
That said, the first time I tested the brick, it still didn't light up. Does now.

    SBrick Market working?
Using the Android App on Galaxy S4 via Wi-fi for net.
Click on the Market bit and all I get is a spinning icon. Is it meant to go to a web page or something?

I can browse the net etc. via the phone, so the internet works on it.
