I updated the app on my HTC One M7 to the latest, 1.6.1, and I was not able to update the SBrick firmware. I asked some help from a friend who has an iPhone and was able to update the firmware and the port tester was working.
Back to my HTC One M7 and I was able to connect to the brick but the port tester was not working, nor any actual profiles. While moving the sliders the motor is not powered, also the LED on the brick is always on, tapping the "Identify LED" button in the app does nothing.
Can anyone test it with an HTC? I assume there must be some issue with the Android app, as the functions were working in the Apple version.
    Thanks!

Try to delete and reinstall app, please.  less

    Dear Sbrick Team

I can state the same as above, I can do nothing with newest app version 1.2 I can only try to update the the firmware without any succes ! I am asking where is the improvement. I am waiting for working product since December 2014. I did not track every update but after 4 months I was expecting significant improvement but I can not do any simple action with the sbrick. (Samsung S4 mini). If this is the progres of 4 months the working app may appear in 2020.

Version 1.1 is operational when you can update the firmware and when you have only one Sbrick, so I'll stick to this version until a real working app, correctly tested and validated, is issued.

    Hi again,

So I got this car, with 2 Buggy motors for drive and servo for steering, which seems like it should be perfect to drive with SBrick... but it's only perfect for crashing :(
There is still a noticeable lag in commands, I tell the car to steer and by them time (I hear) the servo steers the car it's too late, BAM!

Then I also had lots of app crashes while driving. Like, LOTS. Every. Single. Time. I could drive for literally a few seconds, then app freezed, sometimes leaving with the Buggy motors at full gas! At least now when the app crashed motors would stop. This was all with v1.2 and the latest Android on a Nexus 5.

I deleted the app cache and data, uninstalled the app, then tried again with v1.0 and v1.1. Same frustratin results, but I noticed in my system bluetooth settings that the phone seemed to be...    less

The app cannot discover the brick. We were built a logger in the brick.
If you choose "Brick is powered", the app makes a log entry.
    We'll analyze this.
    Thank you for your report!

I'm at a loss ???? If i open "Manage Brick" and wait for 4-5 second than i also from time to time get "Sbrick is powered?". And now i chose detected sbrick immediately.

This means: if the application doesn't detect the brick, it asks: you really have a brick and it's working?

Then I found also a small bug or a feature yet to update.
LED ID function seem to have been changed in the latest fw version. Now it just blinks for a couple seconds and then LED remains on.
Hence the the app behaviour which alternates with on and off commands is not adequate anymore. The messages on screen are misleading and it works only every two touch actions. :)
Also can't find where to look for SBrick info like HW and FW versions, but guess this is not yet implemented into Android app version.

Apart from this, just looking for App multi SBrick support. There is a LEGO event approaching fast. :D

Yes, the led behaviour was changed. No it's allways lighting.
We'll check the on/off and message dialogs problems.
Thank you for your feedback.  less
