I have one more question about scratch 2.0. I just read in the instructions of S2Bot that even if you have a LBE bluetooth in your

computer, you need a specific BLE dongle and S2Bot does not work with the internal LBE. Is that true when working with Scratch and Sbrick? I

have a new computer (1 month old!) with Windows 10 and BLE and I do not really want to buy a BLE dongle...

      Hello,

Yes this is true, for the S2Bot it doesen't matter whether you have internal BLE, you need the dongle.

But a great news is that we will release a new plugin for Scratch that will work without the S2Bot and without the Dongle today or tomorrow.

So, if you could wait a few days it will be possible to use your SBrick without any difficulties.

I hope I could helped to you,

      Have a nice day,

Steve Smythe I know it's tricky but it is not good to announce something will be ready today or tomorrow unless you know it will be.

in the topic EV3 brick and sbrick bluetooh communication in the forum Suggestions
Hi, A suggestion for software development. There is an interest in EV3 Mindstorms robots to control PF motors to perform some of the motion functions. For doing this, right now we use the PF mate (see here http://www.mindsensors.com/ev3-and-nxt/123-pf-motor-controller-for-nxt-or-ev3-pfmate , you can see there several nice examples) . This gadget allows control from the EV3 intelligent brick and add a new, custom control block to the EV3 software. This is better than simply connecting a PF motor with an adaptor to the EV3 brick because you can connect more motors and use their own batteries (and use the power and ports of the EV3 brick to the EV3 sensors and motors of the robot).  Now my son asks why not doing this task with our Sbrick. The idea would be that EV3 brick communicates with bluetooth to the Sbrick and the Sbrick could be added as a new sensor block in the EV3 programs. Technically, is this possible? Or the EV3 brick is allowed to use bluetooth only to communicate to the PC? What do you think??   Jordi

in the topic PUBLIC PROFILES APP SBRICK in the forum Support
We see many profiles in the public profiles section of the Sbrick App. A few of them are pretty obvious and of generic use, but others are quite complex and specific. For example, the one for the lego mercedes-benz arocs 3245, I do not even imagine how to mount the sbrick to control all these options (2 or 3 sbricks?). Since the profiles are posted, I imagine that someone at Vengit has made the profile with a MOC of the lego set in mind. Could you post any photo or building suggestion for these profiles?  Or are they just a suggestion for the users and see whether anybody is able to build it?
