Silly to ask really, but the rest of the power functions range has a wire in and it's a faff to have to go and buy a seperate one. Note this isn't a deal breaker by a long way, but it would make the first day of tinkering a bit easier for many people, expecially if they immediatley try and swap out the IR receiver brick.
