Maybe it would be nice to have a look at standby mode: I let the SBrick app running yesterday evening, and this morning my battery was almost completely depleted...

Good news! Just tested the new beta (1.9 update 5) and it seems to work fine on my Asus ME572C. No crash, no problem after stopping the app and restarting it, no unwanted disconnections.
Tried with two Sbricks, coupled channels. Worked.

I can't say for sure about lag (not tested in a real model), but it seems OK.
Actually the only glitch I noticed is that if BT is not enabled, the app says so in Hungarian ;)
As for user friendliness, it seems OK, the only thing that could probably be improved is the selection of Sbrick, the color code is not obvious (need to get back to test mode to figure out which is which).
    A huge improvement!  less

OK, more tests... I tried my other Sbrick that was still with FW 4.0, and the OTA update went fine! Yeah!!!
    Now the bad news:
    - Trying to use the device control results in a crash
    - Trying to do an OTA update from 4.4 to 4.4 fails at 2%.

    - The Sbrick is properly detected
    - If I launch OTA update , Simple App tells me that I have firmware 4.3 installed and that 4.4 is available.
    - When I launch the update, it "reliably fails" at 2%, telling that connexion was lost. Tried to restart Sbrick, app, tablet to no avail, still fails at 2%
    - If I nonetheless try to control the device in 4.3 firmware, the app crashes :(

I installed 0.35 on my Asus Memopad 7, and I was able to access all functions that worked previously, but it is significantly less stable than 0.26 (freezes, BT that looks desperately for device, and so on).

No, it works fine, no lag or commands that are repeated long after moving sliders back and forth. What I did see several times is the motor that keep on turning after I pulled my fingers off the screen. But it stops as soon as I hit the slider again.
