When I turn power on to the SBrick, the status LED is lit constantly.
I can connect to and correctly operate a second SBrick on which I have not a firmware update.

Matt Sailors Found solution on forum. Missed it the first time. Reboot Bluetooth on phone. Strange, but it works.

David Manley For the multi-locomotive controller board, something along the lines of the concept illustrated in https://social.sbrick.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/5/topic_id/2/post_id/2 perhaps? (Watch the video or interact with the storyboard to see what I mean).

After watching the video, I think that this concept may be too ambitious for a first pass I think just the train controls (single and multiple) would be better for a first pass.
I think the more complex layout and train control concept would be better as a PC-based (Win8/8.1) application rather than a hand-held device. A larger screen may be necessary.
