is there a solution or option to force a update?
    regards

This is exactly the same issue I have. iOS and Android apps complete the update without doing anything, and the simple app fails after a few kB.  less

My Android stopped working with the Sbrick a few months ago, until I recently tried pairing it with the Sbrick before connecting.
    It's worth a try!

I hadn't tried pairing before. After pairing the update got to 4200 bytes before failing. However, control finally worked.
It was an iPhone 5, not sure on iOS version.

Well this is great. The iPhone runs through the update, the Sbrick flashes its light, but the version stays 4.3.

I will borrow an iPhone this week and see if I can get 4.4 on the brick.

As posted in another topic, for me the android app still has a serious bug that prevents it from connecting to the brick. Discovery works, so the Sbrick is all right.

It's definitely the Android app. I borrowed an iPhone, which was able to connect to and control the Sbrick. Android still discovers but cannot connect.

bachaddict . → Profile suggestions - Offical Group: General suggestion for all profile controls: As well as direction reverse, have a toggle of whether the control returns to center when released. That would make something like Test 2 much easier to use for more models!

Mine also gave a tiny blink on powerup, but the the LED won't come on under testing unless I open the casing. By the way, the plastic you see is redirecting the light from a surface-mounted LED, so there are no wires to break.
