      Hey Alex,
I have not seen much activites in this group (yet), but I am sure, there is a huge potential to share one's MOC ideas with SBrick - at least based on how many customers I have in the States - . I am thinking of encouraging our group activity with a promotion before Christmas to ask people to send in pics of their MOCs and I would sponsor the most three voted ones with valuable SBrick prizes. Would you be willing to promote this idea among your friends? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks, Peter (www.brickpowerllc.com)  less

Alex Nodge → Balint Mezei: what discharge rate is too high for sbrick. is 35c?

A discharge rate like 35C says something about the maximum discharge rate of a specific battery. It says nothing about the amount of current that is actually discharged, because that depends on the draw of the attached components and the Ah of the battery in question. As far as I am aware the max current that the Sbrick can handle is 6A, with max 3A per channel. In theory the 3A per channel would come down to 12A but I've heard that the PF wiring won't be able to handle that amount of current.  less

    • June 4, 2016
    • Alex Nodge
Balint Mezei Perhaps it is better way, if you use dual lipo with two different SBrick.

When i try to drive i can give it about 50-75% power and sometimes it drives fine but when i try to give it full power or sometimes just try to accelerate fast it will go to full speed and stay there for like 1/2 a second and then it will do this stall thing and it will make the speed go back to neutral and then you cant give it power for like 1 second. Is this because i am only running 1 lipo?  less

Balint Mezei Hello Alex! Yes, the solution is to use stronger battery. The RC Buggy motor uses a lots of power. I hope i could helped to you! Best wishes, Balint Mezei - SBrick Team
