Franciscus van der Maat @Jan Bassett, working on them at the moment but making good quality instructions is a time-consuming process and limited spare time. Same old story . Hopefully in a month or so.

    Blacktron Scouttrax: Hot Pursuit
This is my Blacktron Scouttrax. It is inspired by the 6941 which was one of my favorite sets when I was a kid. It is powered by two Sbricks and it's pretty fast also it uses an uncommon steering mechanism.

The Sbrick would sometimes work in the test-mode, however when I tried to to control my MOCs through the My creations control interface I didn't get past the disconnected message. This is what I did to get it sort of resolved. I noticed that the identity of my Sbrick had changed but that my control schemes still had the old identity. I assume this is the reason why I wasn't able to connect when using the control schemes. So I deleted the old identities and reassigned the functions of my control schemes to the new Sbrick identity. Afterwards I was able to get the control interfaces to connect. However as before disconnects continue to happen far too often for comfort.
If anyone knows of a way to improve stability of the connection between the app and the Sbrick I would really like to know.
Just for reference, I am using a Hauwei G620S with Android 4.4.4 which...    less

It was kinda unexpected because I usually didn't get gifts this big. And I was over the moon because it is such an iconic set. After my 'dark age' I felt the urge to make something that is Blacktron themed and here you see the result, the Blacktron Scouttrax. It is a 6x6 ATV, powered by six L motors! The steering is interesting because it steers a bit like a motorcycle by banking into a corner. The final version will have two Sbricks and that should give it awesome speed.

    Hey guys,

Tried to do something a little different with this tank and this
video. The tank actually has a self-stabilizing gun system, but this
video is not about that. Hope you will like it anyway . Planning to
make a more technical video pretty soon as well. There actually is an

The Sbrick app can be a little temperamental which is not odd since it is still in alpha. Alpha versions of applications are buggy by definition, nor do all features work. They are however generally functional, as is the Sbrick android app. I have had my bad spells with it: generally figuring out in what order things should be done, episodes of it crashing, not being able to connect to the Sbrick, showing a blank screen without functions, things getting broken after an update, etc. But in all cases I was able to resolve the issue.

A list of things i have tried when the Sbrick did not do what i wanted:

Look at the instructional video and videos of other people to see if i was missing something.

    Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.

Make sure the Sbrick is battery-pack that powers the Sbrick is turned-on.

Sometimes it helps to turn bluetooth off and on again.

    Reboot the device (smartphone, tablet).

I would like to improve the controls for one of my MOCs for which i could really use a switch which has three states, -1, 0 and +1. As far as i can see the only control elements available at the moment have either a sliding imput from -1 to 1 and all the values in between or an on/off switch that only has either 0 or 1 as outputs. Is it possible to setup any of the control elements in the way i would like? And if not does anyone know if such a control element will be added?  less

  • Lénárd Pásztor Hi All! We created an update for train fans. Our users usually configure multiple trains in one profile. The problem started when not all trains powered on and the profile not started. Now you can stop the discovery and run the profile if you want even if not all device connected. We hope this solves the problem. Any comments are welcome. :)

It rarely happens but if all else fails, put it away for a couple of hours sometimes it will resolve itself.     This post was edited by Franciscus van der Maat at February 17, 2015 2:02 AM CET
