That makes starting and turning difficult. I turn on the motors full power for about 0.4 s and then throttle them down to the speed I want and my tanks or cars go fairly straight, good enough for going around in a room. When turning, I have to adjust and compensate by running one motor at less power than another for a short time so the tank goes back to a straight line. It is trial and error to see what works best, but fortunately the error in turning can be overcome. If the Sbrick extensions for Scratch could use variables for motor power like the old version then this problem could be solved with math.  less

i am using a little program that converts my gamepad input into regular keystrokes, hence its possible now to control the sbrick via laptop and controller (and scratch)
