You can connect two LEDs antiparallel (with appropriate resistors) and power them from the C1/C2 lines of the power functions port (the two "middle" wires of the 4-wire power functions cable). There is no 3-way switch in the profile designer, but you can work around that by using a slider, so you can send "forward", "halt", and "backward" commands. The "halt" of course means dark LEDs, the "forward" and "backward" status only differs in polarity.

      I hope this is helpful,

Lénárd Pásztor We are on way to rewrite the android app, still buggy, so the highest priority to fix it. Then we can work with many features that we planned before. Sorry for the delay.. I hope the robotics functions will enabled in the PD in 2016Q1.

      Hi Maxime,

It may look expensive for the first time, but if you make some "research" you realize that it’s not. We set the price to the Lego power function IR receiver. If you want to use 4 functions at the same time, you need 2 IR receiver and one Lego remote controller which price nearly equals one SBrick’s price… but the SBrick has 4 output ports

And there are some important differences between the IR receiver and the SBrick as well:
      - SBrick uses Bluetooth technology, instead of Infrared (IR)
      - The SBrick works perfectly in sunlight
      - SBrick can reach more than 50 meters range
      - You can create your own personalized remotecontrol interface thanks for the designer.sbrick.com
      - The SBrick smaller than IR receiver, so you can hide it easier in your creation  less

Tamas Misik And one more important thing: If you buy LEGO Power function, it will be the same after years, nothing new feature, because the LEGO won’t develop them in the future.

      - SBrick will be programmed.
      - We work on a new LEGO battery which will be compatible with SBrick
      - You will be able to control the SBrick by PC, OSX, game controllers and your phone's or tablet’s sensors as well.
      - And we have many other cool plans  less

I think you can also use a speaker with low (bass) frequencies but will have to wait for the App function to use pre-defined waves. But a speaker usually has only 8 Ohm internal impedance... with 9V from SBrick you will have to use a 10 Watt (or more) speaker or add a resistor to reduce current.

Unfortunately the PWM can not be altered. Yet. If I'll have the time I'm gonna take a look at the HW and probably implement a PWM freq setup command. I don't see why we couldn't cover 2-3 octaves  less
