  • Lénárd Pásztor Hi All! We created an update for train fans. Our users usually configure multiple trains in one profile. The problem started when not all trains powered on and the profile not started. Now you can stop the discovery and run the profile if you want even if not all device connected. We hope this solves the problem. Any comments are welcome. :)

The Ultimate 8043 S is the SBrick version of the Ultimate 8043. The U-8043 is a fully motorized version of the original 8043 motorized excavator set. The gearbox of the 8043 was removed, and all the digging functions, slewing and driving now all have their own PF-motor, allowing all the ...

Got back to my SBricks after a couple of months. And I see the app has completely changed, and I'm sorry but I really don't like the new App: 1. Assigning the ports to the functions has become very difficult. In the iOS version you can tap the SBrick-picture, the motor will run briefly and you can easily assing the correct funvtion to the port directly. Now, you have to 1. SBricks -> Select 1 of the SWBricks -> 3. Select Port Tester -> 4. test one port -> 5. go back to MOC's -> 6. go to Settings -> 7. Select profile settings again -> 8. and then you can assign a port to a function. As you see, something which took 2 ticks, now takes 8 !! Imaging you have a model with 2 SBricks and 8 functions ... 2. The profile market has lots of trouble fetching the profiles. 3. When trying to open the Excavator-profile, the app shows a black screen once it has connected to the Sbricks. 4. The App can show only 1 1/2 moc on 1 screen, previously you could see more than 4 Mocs at once. Guys, this is very frustrating. Last October during Lego World the system finally worked almost perfectly, and now there are lots of bugs .... again.  My bricks are up to date, using Sony Z3 Compact Android 5.1.1 Please Please Please don't change the iOS-app into this new version.

Zsolt Szrapkó said: I checked it, and it seems ok until the Joystick, but you should set the Sliders channel parameter too. The Name parameter is just a cosmetic thing in the Profile Designer. We know it's not obvious, and we're working on a more accurate way. (Also, bigger features coming soon). Anyway, if you can't set the channel parameter, try to empty your browsers cache, maybe something stucked within... That worked. Indeed, I only set the name, but not the channel. That also explains why all the sliders operated the same function. Thanks for your help !! Now I can refine the Profile. I 'm planning to put this SBrick-model on display at Lego World 2015. What exactly do you mean with Profile ID's ?  If it's the number in the URL of the PD, then it's: 3458 The one in which the sliders don't work: https://designer.sbrick.com/?profile=3458 The old ones that do work: https://designer.sbrick.com/?profile=910 https://designer.sbrick.com/?profile=387

Currently I'm having trouble designing the profile I want. I've just made an SBrick-version of my Backhoe Loader V2 and I want the profile to have 4 sliders and 2 joysticks. But the sliders mess things up: only the functions of the joysticks show up in the App (both Android and iOS). But only 1 sliders shows up, which is allways called "Slider", no matter what name you gave it in the Profile-Designer.  As a test I made a profile with only 2 sliders. It allready had these problems, and both sliders in the profile controll the same function in the MOC. The older profiles I have (which also have 2 or more sliders) work perfectly, So it looks like there something going wrong in the Profile-designer. I'm using Chrome on Win 7. The profile won't connect to the Bricks anymore. Everytime I open the profile to controol my MOC, I onlt see 2 red-SBricks on the screen. In previous versions this worked. And OTA doesn't seem to work. After I do the firmware update, it still says is has V0.0. After OTA of my android phone, it does say V4.2. But even with frimware 4.2, the profile still won't connect to the SBricks. Currently, the Android app works better than the iOS app. Now I CAN controll my 2-SBrick moc with my Sony phone, but NOT with my iPod (iOS 8.3). The fact that working functions stop working regularly worries me.
