Roberto Vengut Tro I have got an idea for a future SBrick project: include some kind of real working speed indicator.
    • August 14, 2014
    • Roberto Vengut Tro
Lénárd Pásztor we will have some, but it will be only "fake" not real, that means we will not measure the speed exactly. The indicator displays the power level of the motor not the rotation speed. Check out Miron's F1 profile. There is some example.

Roberto Vengut Tro Yes, I know that, I mean an extra block with a system to determine real speed.

    • Roberto Vengut Tro
Lénárd Pásztor About extra block we will do a polling. We received several ideas, like camera, touch sensor, IR gateway, EV3 support, etc. Now we working on SBrick.

Roberto Vengut Tro Seems like you are going to do it! Hope i was over 18 to buy the 42030 S. At least I convinced some people to back this. If we get the flat design will we get the stair top one in the future?

Roberto Vengut Tro I designed a 3 studs long PF S motor. Do you consider possible to manufacture it? It will be a great Sbrick future product.

I already sugested this in one of that e-mails you can send in sbrick.com but I will also say it here.

    My sugestions are:
-Make the accelerometer and other phone sensors compatible with the app (A stering wheel feature will be great)
-Make a programming app in the future (this may be quite difficult and I think you should not make it open source and make people pay for that app, because it will be very difficult to make and you will spend many time on it)
-If the Sbrick is approved and it starts selling you could include an option in the online shop to buy power functions cables separately (and other PF elements and sets) like any normal LEGO Technic online store. That way people could buy the cables and the sets they want to mod with the Sbrick and avoid paying the shipping cost that you will pay if you buy it from any other place. You should first get LEGO to ship their products to you (and have all the legal permissions to sell them), like a toy store...    less

  • Lénárd Pásztor Hi All! We created an update for train fans. Our users usually configure multiple trains in one profile. The problem started when not all trains powered on and the profile not started. Now you can stop the discovery and run the profile if you want even if not all device connected. We hope this solves the problem. Any comments are welcome. :)
  • Tamás Fábián A new Profile Designer bugfix release is out. Read the announcement if you're using the "widget" ...widget :) https://social.sbrick.com/forums/topic/8074/profile-designer/view/post_id/14496

  • Simen Gvein I dont wanna copy the sbrick, but I want to find programable device that have otuts ad inputs.  Then I can use a tachometer connected to the input. With a gearbox it will be possible to make a automatic transmission. If the axle is spinning faster than 10 rpm...change from gear 1 to 2. When it reaches 20 rpm....change to gear 3 and so on. A couple of questions. Is it based on a Arduino (or something else) or is it made from scratch? Do anyone have any idea of what I can use. If this idea works, I will not be selling it. Its just for personal use :) Is there free apps allready made to arduino, that I can download to android/iOS?
  • Giuseppe Pissinato I'm sorry for awnser it - I can't remember if you  already  said it - but... Sbrick's app is avaiable NOW? Thank you! :)

First, sorry for my poor English.   I already sugested this in one of that e-mails you can send in sbrick.com but I will also say it here.   My sugestions are: -Make the accelerometer and other phone sensors compatible with the app (A stering wheel feature will be great) -Make a programming app in the future (this may be quite difficult and I think you should not make it open source and make people pay for that app, because it will be very difficult to make and you will spend many time on it) -If the Sbrick is approved and it starts selling you could include an option in the online shop to buy power functions cables separately (and other PF elements and sets) like any normal LEGO Technic online store. If you sell the cables separately and the store sells things with the permission of LEGO I think you won't have legal problems (I think that thanks to my poor English this sugestion is almost impossible to be understood) The last (and more important) sugestion is to add smileys in the forum and coments :P haha. EDIT: Is this forum also for future new product sugestions? I haven't got any great idea buy maybe somebody has...  This post was edited by Roberto Vengut Tro at July 25, 2014 5:30 PM CEST
