Redo the pairing? You mean like restart the app and connect to the Sbrick again?
[/blockquote]
Hi Anton, I think it refers to the standard bluetooth devices pairing : when you activate the Bluetooth function on your phone/tablet, the device scans for other bluetooth-enabled devices around you. You can then select which devices will be interconnected with your phone.
Just do that in a railway station at 5:00PM to see what will happen ;)
As for me : just upgraded to 1.3 (finally), I confirm that the B-C inverters now work fine. No crash so far, but I used it a few moments only.

I also have Sony Xperia Z2 with 5.02 and noticed that you sometime need to redo the bluetooth pairing with the Sbrick, i.e. it is not enough to just turn the bluetooth on and off.

Hi
I have some problems with the connection to the Sbrick.
My phone: Sony Xperia Z2 with Android (lolipop) 5.0.2
I can Connect to the Sbrick, and I've done the firmware update. The problem is that neither any profiles or the port tester work.
I have all cables connected and everything is fine, so it should work...
Please help!

[/blockquote]
I have already tried everything, more than once. :(

how do u make a profile???

The new 1.3 version is a very good improvement (Tested on a Samsung Galaxy S3)....do a clean install and finally add a creation, dowload and asign a custom profile, discovery and asign a sbrick, config the sbrick, play more than 1 minute (actually 15 min) without a single crash or issue during the process and play time....well done!!
Only thing that maybe is a bug is that during play time, i see 2 re-connecting sbrick screen....first appear 2-3 seconds and the second don't go away....but when i touch the screen it go back to the gamepad profile screen and sliders still worked fine.
Also i add a screenshot from my gallery to the My creation image, and the image is blank in the selection profile screen, but if select the profile i can see the image.
Version 1.3 continues to work fine at this end (Sansung Note Edge 4.4.4) :)
Port inversion toggles, now seems to be corrected also.
Kudos!
IMO one of the next bug fixing tasks should be the correct rendering of profiles.
- Circles instead of ovals
- Objects in the correct places
- Handling of controls rotation
- Joysticks not prodrucing gosth images
Finally it's working! OTA firmware update (v4.2b) - done . "one slider two ports" feature - done. Working custom profiles - done. Some minor crashes, but they are not very annoying.
First time after 5 month I can say - "Good work, Sbrick team!"
Sony Xperia Z Ultra (Cyanogen 11 M12)
Regards, Alex

It took me 5-8 goes to update my 2 SBricks firmware last night :-/ Have two green lights on solid now :-) Question: The answer may already be out there but how do you change the rotaion of one motor on the Joystick?
[/blockquote]
One solution could be to change the orientation value by 180 degrees but you also reverse the other control.
Update for SBrick designer: I can invert "slider" with button "on/off" port 1 and 4 but can't for port 2 and 3.

For me it works with the port reverser on the screen where you assign controls to sbrick ports.
And in 1.2 the B & C are still swapped although on that screen it seems OK, in profile layout not.

We haven't got any lag problem or crashing on Nexus 5.
Nobody have indicated this problem earlier, here in the forum.
Is your Nexus rooted?
[blockquote]Miguel Angel Vilela said:
To be clear about the lag: it's not like the 2-3 seconds lag I had with v0.8 or before (can't remember), the servo moves within maybe 500 ms., but that's enough to lose control of a fast car.
And no, my Nexus is not rooted, I've never had a rooted device.

Send me your device type and Android version, please.

Just for information, I had too many application crashes with v1.2 and downgraded to version 1.1.
Version 1.1 is operational when you can update the firmware and when you have only one Sbrick, so I'll stick to this version until a real working app, correctly tested and validated, is issued.

For technical reasons you have to restart the bluetooth manually after the firmware update. Before the bluetooth restart nothing will work.
Did you restarted the bluetooth?

I do the new update for android. Now everytime i want to connect to SBrick the program ask me to do the Firmware update and can't do nothing more, i try it 4 times. The port tester didn't work anymore. The LED test work. Using Samsung galaxy tab4 8" It works ok before the update but now it don't work.
update: After many and many ways to update the SBrick, i finally got it, can't find out really why this time it work. (i try really near of my tablet, brand new battery, nothing connect to the port, etc...) When it was update the light will stay ON. The invert port button now didin't work but we can correct this problem by change the slide button angle 0 to 180 and 90 to 270. Can't still not control 2 port for one action. I try another way by install one slide on top of the second one but didn't work.
