Yeah got it to work. I reset my browser and started again. Can you create a button so you can link it to the slider. eg Stop, reset etc :-) I got my 2 sbs in the post today :-) so far Im liking it.

It's not that simple, but we are working on something greater than just that. :)

Manual settings is out now!
You can find a third panel in every control element's settings, there you can see, and change also every numeric parameter (include X/Y coords, width, height, etc). The changes are presented on the fly.
Be warned, your hands are free in that panel, so you can also spoil your profile. We're also working on the validation part, in the meantime, watch out. :)

Too bad the Android app won't handle cordinates correctly ! I still have position issues, oval circles and rectangle squares :(

How can I rotate a slider to 90 degres?
I can not set the directly the value in the box and when I use the slider I can only set -93 -85 87 or 95

Please see my previous post about the manual settings part. It's out now.

That's an app bug, and what i'm know currently, it has nothing to do with the PD. The android developers are working on it, but please report it here: https://social.sbrick.com/forums/topic/29/sbrick-android-app

For me the problem is solved with 1.9.2beta by setting manually the values
Thank you

I will be great if a profile created with one ratio could be converted in an other.
I have a tablet with 16:10 and a mobile with 16:9

This feature is on our list!

Getting better. I managed to tweak my profile with custom items, but still some issues. Bugs summary:
- Sliders position is not exactly what is defined in the PD (already reported)
- Round items (such as the close button) are displayed as ovals (already reported). Managed to use a custom square buttom that looks good, although probably rectangular now.
- Tried to use square sliders buttons. All messed up once displayed, will try plain jpgs instead of the fancy alpha-channel png I have used.
- Tried to set a min and max value to the steering slider, still works from -1 to +1.
- Pixelized pictures. Probably OK on a phone, but annoying on a tablet.
- My background's background is supposed to be grey, it is displayed as green-grey
Suggestion : implement log and inverted log profiles for the sliders. Linear is not adapted to accelaration control, I think it would help a lot and would make driving easier and more natural.
Marc
All in all, it works and I'm globally happy, but setting up the beast is a real assault course ;)

Sadly, all of these are android bugs. Do you reported these bugs into the android app topic too?

Hi! ...
I've been making some Profiles with the SBrick designer, but I can't find the correct screen ratio for my samsung galaxy S5... Do any of you know what screen ratio the Samsung Galaxy S5 has :P :P :P ....
[/blockquote]
I believe it should be 16:9, which is equal to 1920:1080.

I have challenged the Profile Designer today.
I have made a profile where i have 3 Joysticks, 8 Sliders and 2 buttons.
While working in the profile designer, i experienced some very odd things.
When i added a new slider or button, and changed the name in the settings for the new function, the name didn't appear in the upper line for the new slider/button, but instead 5 lines below in a former added function. When trying to change the design, it also "jumped" to the 5. line below, and without knowing, i was then changing the design in the wrong line.
Saving the profile didn't help the problem, but exiting the editor to the frontpage, and entering the profile editor again, seem to make the profile look right.
Using Google Chrome on PC to edit profile, and Ipad mini for the App.

Hi Allan, can you provide a profile ID for us? I want to debug this situation.

Hi Marc,
I wouldn't say my slider is too close to the edges of the screen. It is pretty in the center.
I understand how the multiple instances problem happens and I've done something similar to avoid it, but that's not the way it should work.
App should sync with PD server and remove obsolete Profiles automatically, to avoid annoying problems like this. User shouldn't need to have a system tester mindset to find the bugs and think how to circumvent them. :)

Also found that adding a rotated Slider to a Profile, seems to corrupt this. App always crashes trying to open a Profile which includes a rotated Slider.
[/blockquote]
Fernando, did you check that your rotated slider was not too close to the side of the screen? I had the same problem (app crashing with a rotated slider), until I placed the slider in the center of the screen.
Since there are coordinates management issues (the objects are not exactly where you place them in the PD), my slider was in fact "out of the screen", and that caused the app to crash.
As for multiple instances of the profiles: I think the app makes a local copy of the profile stored on the server. If you update the profile without changing the name, the app creates a new copy, hence the multiple local occurences. It's "logical"...
I "solved" that by indexing my profile (Sbrick1, Sbrick2, etc...) using the drop box at the top of the screen (between the resources icon and the floppy icon) at each modification. I still had multiple profiles when assigning one to my MOC, but at least, I knew which was which.
In the end, I had to delete cache+data to empty this list, re-create the MOC and I have now an acceptable situation.
But for sure, I would not do that a thousand times ;)
